Devore Engraving’s steel stamps and marking dies are custom engineered for identifying a variety of industrial products, as well as for those in the food and beverage and canning industries. Each die blank that we manufacture is machined to the customer’s specifications and can be used in marking machines, punch presses, press brakes, and other machines.
In the photo example above, we’ve shown a canning cut stamp that is used for die location marking in the canning industry. These stamps are similar to the dot style stamps that we cut for the canning industry. The height and diameter of the stamp will vary depending on the customer’s need. We turn the parts on a CNC lathe in our shop, then engrave the desired character combination per customer request. In this example, the depth of the stamp’s characters is only .0004 inches. Each stamp is then heat treated for durability and then coated if requested by the customer.
